11/7/2016 - NANO Fiction has released it's final issue, 10.1, and I was proud to serve as an associate editor for this one. A lovely farewell for a publication that's been a huge piece of my literary landscape since its founding.
3/18/2016 - "Naming the Baby" is now available in Passages North, which will be on sale at AWP16 as well. Really happy this baby found a good home.
3/8/2016 - Fairy Tale Review's Ochre Issue will be available at AWP16, with my microsaur story "Trackways." Check the issue here!

11/30/2015 - Discovered videos of my story "Lizards" at Grown Up Story Time, read by Lucas Gorham. A note that the language is NSFW, so wear your headphones. Videos from GUST 64 and Best of GUST.
10/12/2015 - My review of With Animal is live at The Rumpus. This is a weird, wonderful collection.
My prose chapbook Responsibility is available from Lit House Press. My recurring interests tend toward the very short form, the grotesque, and the comic, and my most recent work experiments with variations in voice, the very short form, and nonlinear structures. I'm also a bit of a lit student at heart, and my research interests include film studies, representations of the death and the body, and representations of disability. I have an MFA in Fiction from New Mexico State University and a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Houston, and I live near Seattle with my husband. I'm also on Twitter: @KHahnasaurus
